Technology is very useful in making people’s life easier and reducing their efforts. With invention and introduction of smart, people tend to carry their personal information and their security along with them wherever they are going. Along with the use of smart phones, they are actually compromising their personal information, which has become a soft target to all the scammers. According to GDS Publishing Scam, the number of mobile users for banking transactions is increasing day-by-day and the introduction of many new applications available to download whose authenticity is not checked is also rising. Some of the applications used for identity theft are used to defraud the people to swipe their bank accounts and their money.

GDS Publishing Scam has reported about the modus operandi carried out by the scammers targeting mobile users to retrace their bank account information. People will get a hoax text message stating about the problem aroused in their bank, which has to be verified by calling on provided number in text message. Whenever someone calls on this number as a procedure, he is asked to reveal certain personal information, which is crucial to check in his account, many people end up in providing their information about bank and their cards. Once these scammers get what they have intended, they will blindly steal all the money in the account which are not traceable to any specific source.

GDS Publishing Scam has urged people to delete and ignore such messages, as there are no such messages delivered by any bank in today’s date. If anyone needs information regarding their bank account, they can always walk in to nearest branch and sort out the problem personally rather than relying on technological advancements.
